2008 PF Chang's Rock n Roll Marathon in Arizona -  This is an amazing marathon for first timers, heck with a band playing at every mile and running in sunny Arizona. What's not to love? This race was one of our editors first marathon event and she qualified for Boston.  The course is fast and runs through Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.  The weather is perfect for marathons, the average temp in January is 66 degrees.  The Arizona Rock N Roll half marathon is also a great event. 

Carlsbad Marathon -  Sun, January 20, 2008 - Lets face it there's nothing like running along the ocean with the sea breeze blowing on you and the sound of crashing waves. The Carlsbad marathon course takes you alongside the Pacific Ocean during your 26.2 miles or if you prefer the half marathon.  Its a winter marathon so temperatures are usually ideal for the long run.  This marathon is likely to sell out fast. Carlsbad is home to many fitness companies and of course ironmen and women that train for triathlons.  See you there.  At the Carslbad Marathon expo be sure to visit local San Diego company Running Skirts

Welcome to the RunningPage marathon directory.  This Running Page was the first website about running on the net and the marathon listings you see below were the list in 1999 updated with 2008 content and websites.   The website is now under new ownership and will be receiving a major facelift with updated running content and will become a valuable guide for runners as it was in the early days of the Internet.  Please be patient through the transition we promise you will be happy with what you see.  The following is a listing of Marathons that were listed by the orginal website manager. Our new website will cover all marathons regardless of size, many will have reviews and video coverage. We also working at updating the  Ultra Marathon & Relay Page. We are temporarily going to update the original pages of the ultra section so that the info is current for 08. For those that don't I maintain a small amount of marathon data on them. Some of the listed marathons have dates back to 1994, so the information may well be invalid. If you have current information on these (or any others) please let us know.
